Whew!

Well, September just ran away from me... finished out my temp job, went to visit mom for about a week, then started my new job. Loving the new gig so far (made it through 3 weeks). I'd forgotten what it was like to only have 2 people in the office, so it's a big change from the "culture" at Speedo... at least I won't have to dress up for Halloween!

My boss is a little crazy, but not in a bad or violent way, just quirky. The accountants managed to get my paycheck into Direct Deposit the first pay period, I've already gotten my reimbursement check for my health insurance, and I get to hang out with a sweet big dumb dog all day.

All in all, a very fortuitous beginning, I'd say!

Today's plan of action is recycling, a bank run, grocery shopping, probably some cleaning, maybe a movie this evening, and just random errands.
