Kraft Mac & Cheese (blue box) is my favorite version... I know there are so many more "gourmet" ways to go than good old "7 minute K-R-A-F-T", and they all have their time & place... but I like what I like.
As I'm a bargain hunter, and not much of a cook, I took an opportunity (read: coupon) to try one of Kraft's new items,Bistro Deluxe. Touted as a "grown-up" mac & cheese (the press release has wine pairing notes), I went with the Three Cheese Italiano (Parmesan, Romano & Asiago, allegedly) version.

Prep is simple, and very much like the other "deluxe" mac & cheese products out there: boil pasta 'til al dente, squeeze pouch of sauce over, stir & enjoy... no packet of sodium-rich orange powder here folks, this one's fancy.
Kraft's official description: Distinctly Delicious. For a sophisticated twist on an old favorite, try Kraft Bistro Deluxe Pasta. Now your can enjoy premium Kraft cheeses and pastas in a variety of mouth-watering flavors fit for your distinctive tastes: Sundried Tomato Parmesan, Creamy Portobello Mushroom, Classic Cheddar and Three Cheese Italiano. This Mac & Cheese is meant for you.

Verdict: Not bad, the elbow macaroni is ridged... maybe to hold more sauce per noodle? The Sauce is okay, but a little bland - I added salt & pepper. May have benefitted from some extra herbs/spices or some canned tomatoes squashed up in it? It's definitely edible on it's own, but not sure I'd pay $3.49 for it - look for a coupon, or wait until they discontinue it and send it to the dollar store. Also, 3 servings in the bag? Maybe as a side dish. Mine was dinner, and I ate about 2/3 of it tonight, and I'll have the rest with a salad tomorrow for lunch.
